Marvel Rivals fans, get ready for some big news. Season One of the game has been leaked, revealing new maps and exciting heroes that are bound to surprise even the most die-hard players. At first glance, it’s clear that the Fantastic Four will headline the season, and yes, all four members are coming to the game right from the start, but there’s even more information to discuss. Let’s dive into the details.
The Fantastic Four Enter the Fray
The image above from the official NetEase Games Twitter account confirms that Human Torch, The Thing, Mr. Fantastic, and Sue Storm will all debut in Season One. Based on several leaks across the internet, The Fantastic Four will bring a diverse range of playstyles to the game:
Mr. Fantastic – A Duelist with elastic abilities, such as Elastic Punch and Reflexive Rubber, which will allow him to absorb and redirect damage. His ultimate, The Brainiac Bounce, allows for multiple leaps, dealing damage and knocking back enemies. This ultimate could be used both offensively and defensively as you could push enemies off of the objective to clutch out a victory.
The Thing – A Vanguard offering tanky abilities like Furious Charge and Battlefield Support, while his ultimate, Slam Moment (we really hope this gets named to “It’s Clobberin’ Time”), unleashes massive knockback power.
Human Torch – Another Duelist with fiery abilities, including a primary fire that launches fireballs (which can also split!) and an ultimate, Supernova, that transforms the flame fields he creates into fire tornadoes. He also comes equipped with a movement ability called Plasma Body in which he has increased speed and can fly around. Human Torch even has a team synergy with Storm, where their ultimate attacks can overcharge each other. Now that’s pretty spicy.
Sue Storm – A Strategist with yet-to-be-revealed abilities, though her potential to turn invisible and shield teammates could create some unique gameplay possibilities. She might be a Psylocke + Mantis combo (now that’s scary).
Even More Possible Leaked Heroes for Season 1
While the Fantastic Four are confirmed, there’s even more speculation about other potential heroes for Season One.
Ultron – A Strategist, has been heavily leaked and should join the roster as early as Season 1. With two duelists already in the Fantastic Four, adding Ultron could balance the game’s hero roles by increasing the number of strategists.
